The universe of guitar knows no boundaries for The California Guitar Trio. Since 1991, the group has enthralled listeners with a singular sound that fearlessly crisscrosses genres. Stepping Out Against Domestic Violence The Shelter’s Right Hand Annual 5K Walk raises money for the Women’s and Children’s Crisis Shelter. In 1975, one man brought about a permanent change in the practice of hula. His name is Robert Cazimero and his vision was Halau Na Kamalei, the only male halau hula in the Hawaiian Islands. Music & dance performances, horse- drawn carriage rides, photos with Santa, treats & more The Whittier Uptown Association invites you and your family to our 66th Annual Uptown Whittier Christmas Parade Saturday, December 7, 2019, from 10am to 12noon. Our parade attracts over 15,000 visitors from Whittier and surrounding communities. Many attend to see their friends and family walk though this historic event. Entries include marching bands, vintage autos, floats, dance troupes, drill teams and more. Santa Clause always makes his appearance at the end of the event. We will be announcing our Grand and Celebrity Grand Marshalls shortly along with special guest.
